Semaphore Partners

The Brief
Semaphore Partners is run by Jonathan Jacob and Toby Comer. They are an official ServiceNow Premier partner and an advisory firm specialising in implementations of service management tools.

Jonathan approached me to redesign his company logo, which they had thrown together rather quickly at the start of their business. The logo was a depiction of semaphore flags (representing letters), which they liked, but the execution was lacking. And they were looking to rebrand before updating their website, as well as releasing a lot more marketing material.

The Solution
The new Semaphore Partners logo is a depiction of a workflow diagram, combined with a representation of semaphore flags to leave a stylised, intertwined logo mark.

I designed the logo to represent the systemised and automated nature of the ServiceNow application, with flowchart symbols representing a traditional path to a solution. When we combine the dark patches most notably found in the semaphore flags, the result is a combination of both businesses.

Testimonial
“James was exactly what we were looking for. We found him on TikTok, and his previous work stood for itself. We loved that his work was out in the open, and he discussed his process. Finding a designer was so challenging because we wanted someone to really understand our brand and portray it in our branding. Sometimes we struggle explaining what it is that we do, but James took the time to really understand our brand, and our services. His timelines, expectations, and follow ups were exactly what every business should provide. We would highly recommend James to anyone looking for high quality design that speaks for itself.”
